Daughter of the Sea
“In this new Opera for young people by award winning composer Richard Chew with a libretto by the novelist Berlie Doherty, we are drawn into an ancient twilight world between myth and reality.“

Daughter of the Sea was a production by Various People and staged at the Opera Studio, 2008. Diwani was the designer and creator of the stage sets and costumes.

Heart Song
“Follow the journey of a heart attack patient in a live performance of improvised music, animation, visual art and text.“

Diwani created the heart sculpture, and visual images for this performance by Cheryl Pickering, Richard Chew, Ian Dixon, Dan Monceaux and Emma Sterling with Sally Francis for Arts in Health at Flinder's Medical centre, SA, 2009.

Vesalius: A Requiem
“Renaissance anatomy, modern- day autopsy and Catholic Mass for the dead collide in this spectacular piece of choral theatre.” Created and produced by Various People and staged at RiAus, June, 2010.

The central prop for this piece was Diwani's Sculpture of a corpse which had a chest cavity that was hinged and opened to reveal cabbages, capsicums etc.

The 24 Hours Project
The 24 Hour Project spanned 2011. It is an interdisciplinary public art project exploring the creation of new artwork through digital projection, craft, sound and performance. It reflects the continual activity of the hospital environment. My input was through film and a large felted installation.
